Our History

McDonald & Wetle was founded in 1921 by Jim McDonald and Roy Wetle. Surviving the Great Depression and thriving during the construction boom after World War II, McDonald & Wetle was eventually sold in 1969 to Roy Bolt, who had started his own roofing company, ABC Roofing, just 18 years earlier. Since that time, Roy, along with his brother, Jim, continued to grow the family business. Today, McDonald & Wetle is still locally family-owned and guided by the simple principles of taking care of our employees and building long-lasting relationships with our customers.
